The Problem of Practice Project is an opportunity for each Principal Resident to focus on one key aspect of the school and make a significant, positive impact on teacher practice and school culture. During the first semester, the Problem of Practice Project focuses on developing qualitative and quantitative skills for each Principal Resident. During the second semester, each Principal Resident completes an individual Problem of Practice Project using the skills learned during the first semester as well as analyzing the data collected for the research of their Problem of Practice. Their individual Problem of Practice Project focuses on a specific challenge faced at their Principal Residency site.
My Problem of Practice focused on meeting the social and emotional needs of students while they dealt with learning virtually.
